Meet the Makers

Nolan and Mackenzie Simmons

Husband and Wife team, Mackenzie and Nolan are both born and raised in Oregon.

Nolan heads the Production side of the business. From Milling trees to running the CNC, he has a passion for producing high quality items.

Mackenzie is the more People oriented of the pair. Speaking with customers about custom designs, making sales, and setting up tables at events is more her style.

Together they support each other in their adventure. Married since 2017, with one son, who is already showing interest in joining the family trade.

About JDS Woodcrafts

Created in 2019, JDS Woodcrafts is a small family owned and operated business in the PNW. Yamhill county OR is home, and where we source most of our wood product. We take trees from the milling process all the way to you, from Forest to Finish.

Each piece that we craft is made to last for generations. We take the "old school" craftsmanship and care, and pair it with "new school" tools and ideas to create a beautiful, functional piece that will be at home in the campsite as well as the kitchen.
